Public 2-Day Lean Workshops in Shipshewana, IN Oct 2026

$600/person Limited to 18 people.

Both workshops will be held at a meeting room next to Heartland Mattress. The address is: 1750 N 500 W Shipshewana, IN 46565 The times are 5:30a-1:30p each day. Please aim to arrive about 5:15a so we can start promptly at 5:30a Coffee, snacks, lunch, notebook, and pen provided. All you need to bring is your appetite for learning (and lunch!)

This workshop is designed for company owners, leaders, and workers who want to understand the Lean Business Culture and gain enough inspiration and knowledge to get started.

Each day is an enjoyable mix of hands-on airplane production, teaching, and "daily meetings" to review production and decide how to improve.

Includes coffee, snacks, lunch, and a ring binder with workshop materials and Lean starter-docs.

  • What you would see on shop tour at a Lean company. (includes video & photos from Toyota and other Lean businesses).
  • How Lean works in real life.
  • The most powerful thing in Lean to improve your company
  • Learn the basics by improving high-volume, repetitive production of Lego airplanes
• Day 2 Becoming Lean
  • How Lean fits the Christian world view
  • Getting Lean started at your company
  • Creating a culture where people can thrive at “Continuous Improvement”
  • What leaders and workers should expect as you grow in Lean
  • Go deeper by improving low-volume, high variety production of Lego airplane options.
